E30 M3 KW V3 Coil Overs:
Front Lowering Range: 25-55mm
Rear Lowering Range: 25-55mm
A powerful toolbox for mixed performance street and intermediate-level track driving.
In the V3 the compression and rebound damping are adjustable - 12 and 16 clicks, respectively. The dampers come with a recommended setting determined by the KW engineers for your particular vehicle. Adjust the compression damping to tune the handling - stiffer for less suspension movement and bodyroll, softer to manage weight transfer. Make rebound adjustments to tune the ride comfort. Find a sweet spot that provides optimum tire contact for street, autocross, and light track use.
The V3 (and similar V4) is designed more for performance than KW V1 or V2 coil overs. The differences between Variants are more than just the added adjustments. Like a musical instrument each Variant is tuned for specific uses, progressively increasing performance potential with each level.
KW has a strong reputation for delivering long-term reliability and performance due to their use of corrosion-resistant materials such as aluminum, stainless steel (“inox-line”), and composites. The dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar mean that you’ll always be able to quickly and easily adjust your ride height when needed, regardless of how many years or seasons they’ve been installed. Adjusting ride height is a simple task, with one-piece composite height adjusters on the front dampers and height adjusters sitting either above or below the rear springs.
Fitment Notes: KW Variant coil overs are installed with stock upper strut and shock mounts and hardware for an easy and straight-forward install. Depending on ride height setting and wheel/tire sizes wheel spacers may be required on the front wheels.
